On March 28, 2026, the Edmonds Petanque Club (EPC) hosted in Edmonds Civic Park its 3rd Annual Green and Gold Tournament.  This tournament is designed to introduce interested members to tournament play and to provide an environment in which EPC members can become more connected and learn from each other.

Participation is voluntary and the classification of the player as Green (less experienced) or Gold (more experienced) is determined by each individual participant.  Club leadership then groups the participants into teams, each consisting of two Golds and one Green, and then creates a schedule of matches to be played in four timed sessions during the morning and afternoon of the tournament.
