Because they are about to dive into their studies of French language and culture, the answer, of course, is PLAY PETANQUE! That is just what happened last Thursday when this year&#8217;s group of young players from University Preparatory School visited the Edmonds courts. This was very much a case of &#8220;learning by doing&#8221; as students jumped into their matches. Time will tell!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">French teacher Amy Pasterczyk has woven petanque into her lessons for the last three years and counts her students&#8217; time on the petanque courts as an important ingredient to their introduction to French culture.
