On June 16, in an article about record-breaking low tides, The Seattle Times featured the EPC’s own Ron LaRue and Jim Klein as they enjoyed an extraordinary day at the beach playing low tide petanque at the Edmonds ferry dock beach. Amid the beachcombers and tidepoolers, Ron, Jim, Larry (you will recognize his stance behind Jim in the second photo), and other club members took advantage of the lowest tide in a decade (!) to throw boules at the beach.
