The mission of the Edmonds Petanque Club is to introduce the game of Petanque (an outdoor sport) to people of all ages, regardless of gender or race, to help promote the sport nationwide, to help establish Edmonds as a sport destination, and to raise funds for charities. The club is a not-for-profit organization under IRC 501(c)(3).

Where and When to Play Petanque

Located in the Pacific Northwest, twenty minutes North of Seattle, Edmonds is a charming town with quaint boutiques and cafés, many parks and restaurants, and beautiful beaches with magnificent sunsets on Puget Sound. An ideal setting for a relaxing day by the sea!  Edmonds is also a great place for pétanque. Most of the time, you’ll find a fun bunch of happy players at the pétanque courts located at Civic Playfield, near Bell Street and 6th Ave N in Edmonds (the GPS address is 230 6th Ave N in Edmonds WA 98020.) With four dedicated pétanque courts and the availability of a soccer field and the track around it, Edmonds Civic Playfield is a destination of choice if you are a pétanque player, whether you’re a “pro” or a beginner.

The Edmonds pétanque courts are always open, but, weather permitting, pétanqueplayers usually meet on

Wednesday at 1:30 pm,
Saturday at 10:00 am,
Sunday at 1:30 pm.

at Edmonds Civic Playfield, north of the intersection at Sixth Avenue N and Bell Street.
